Within the framework of the start of the XXXVII Cycle of the Conference of American Armies (CAA), under the Pro Tempore Presidency of the Paraguayan Army, the First Virtual Coordination Meeting was held with the Liaison Officers of the Member Armies, Observers, and Observer Organizations.
The activity was chaired by the Permanent Executive Secretary of the CAA and included the participation of the Liaison Officers designated by the member countries of the Conference, as well as representatives of military observer organizations.
During the meeting, key aspects related to the general agenda of the 2026–2027 cycle were addressed, including:
- The presentation of the main activities planned for the Commanders of the Armies.
- Considerations regarding the protocol and social agenda, including complementary activities.
- Administrative and logistical guidelines for proper coordination between the SEPCEA and the participating Armies.
- Matters of interest related to the First Specialized Conference, to be held in the United States of America.
- An open dialogue session aimed at the exchange of opinions, questions, and contributions by the Liaison Officers.
Likewise, the importance of maintaining fluid official communication channels was emphasized, along with the permanent updating of the contact information of the Liaison Officers and their respective Commanders, and the mandatory use of institutional email to ensure document traceability and administrative transparency.
